Q. FTP seems slow. What can be done?
A. Ping your account at HostingKey.com; whether or not that shows that the host is responsive, you may want to try a traceroute. If you need instructions on how to perform a ping or a traceroute, just click the links.
Also keep in mind the speed of your modem. If you have a slower modem, transferring large files will take longer and go slower.
